Not quite in the job description, but couldn’t turn down the opportunity, as Director, University Center at West Hawai’i, to help establish a campus which would become an important hub in a part of my home state which has been greatly under served in terms of higher education availability.

As the new branch Campus of Hawai’i Community College – Palamanui, this site will be a locus and a hub of face-to-face, hybrid, and distance higher education, and hosting access to the entire University of Hawai’i System through the University Center.
